We have chickens and they are producing some wonderful eggs!! Well one day I went to collect eggs and found the LARGEST egg I've EVER seen. This egg puts the stores so called Jumbo eggs to shame! LOL~~ Pictured here are normal size eggs and then another large one and then our SUPER JUMBO egg! I couldn't shut the cover on it. It didn't even fit in the box correctly! Oh and most of our eggs are double yolks:-) We are selling farm fresh eggs $2 per dozen!

sorry its been awhile. this is a diamond lace shawl. It is an easy project and not sure who will get it. lol~~

Yarn I spun up and hubby 3 plied for me. will take more picks as I do have it now balled up with another one also. Slacking on a lot of things lately. so much going on! Will try to do better. Just remember its Christmas Knitting time so you won't see gifts on here until they are given:-) I will show picks in knitting yahoo groups I'm on tho :-) I know such a tease hey family!

Meet Mufasa

Our Second year going to Shepherd's Harvest Festival in Lake Elmo, MN was a LOT of fun. We ended up however taking home a live animal. LOL~~ Meet Mufasa, yep from the Lion King movie. We named him this because he very much acts like a king. LOL~~ He if VERY calm and dosile and LOVES attention. He's sitting on my lap during these photo's. So look forward to seeing more of Mufasa. Oh~ He is an English Angora Rabbit. We shear him 3 to 4 times a year for his lovely wool and can spin it into yarn!!! SUPER SOFT!!! He is 1 yr. 2 months old in this photo.

Spinning, dyeing and raw wool!

Well I haven't updated in awhile. So I'm putting this all in one post. LOL~ I have been spinning, dyeing and have gotten some raw wool in to support my habbit. LOL~Hubby's habbit also as he does spin. We are going to send the raw wool to get processed into roving and clouds so we can spin it and dye it:-) Some will of coarse be left all natural because well, its beautiful the way it is
:-) I got 3 large bags of Dorset from a very nice lady we know from our local feed store! I'm in heaven!! It was very nice of her to give them to me. It will go to very good use. Its going to be fun spinning and dyeing it. Some will be left natural also and I will LOVE knitting it up into beautiful items. 8 oz of roving all spun up:-) This is the FIRST fiber spun on my new wheel The Bee~ How wonderful this wheel is. I'm in love.

Hubby wanted some action so he grabbed his Mach 1 with the HUGE bobbins that goes with the wheel and plyed my singles into 2 plyed yarn! YUMMY!!!!

This was roving I got as a christmas gift from Lindsay and it is awsome!! It spun up soooo nice. I plan to ply it with something just haven't found the perfect thing yet.

Teal pencil roving that is dyed by me and in the crockpot. It does have hints of purple also. This fiber was bought white and from Frene Creek Farms in WI.

I named this Easter. LOL~~ It was my 2nd attempt to dyeing in the oven. Needless to say it went lighter then I planned but, it still lovely. I wanted BOLD colors however. LOL

We bought these from someone that advertised in the yellow paper. Hubby has what it is written down. I know its crossed and it has polypay in it. Will post the crosses when I find where hubby wrote them down! LOL

This is 2 pounds of Jacob sheep that Hubby bought off ebay. It is VERY nice fiber. It will be the first to be sent off for processing along with another bag. Just have to choose which. LOL~~ Have to send some out every month or every other month so it doesn't hurt the pocket book! LOL

More dyed roving!

I dyed this the other day in my trusty crockpot. I couldn't get it photo'd quite right. Its inbetween these two pictures for color. You get the idea tho. LOL~~ I have gotten quite good at getting 1 bold color and yet letting other colors come into it also. I'm proud of myself! I actually was showing a shop owner some of my dyed works and she is interested in my bold works of art:-) So gives me more of an excuse to buy roving and more dye colors!! LOL~~ So we will see. I have to make a label for them and come up with names. Not sure on the name this one will be yet. Still thinking. LOL

Hubby surprised me by ordering The Bee for me!! I'm sooooo excited. They are shipping them out this coming week word is. Since we are wholesalers of the wheel I get to show it off and also get others addicted to this gem.

You can see some video's at the side for this wheel and also the Mach 1 and Spindles!!! I will post pictures when it arrives. There is some pictures that was released to us on a couple posts below this one.

Jared's Hat and Mittens

Here is Jared's new hat and thumbless mits! I used Isela's hat pattern out of her first book and LOVE it!! The mits I made just like the no scratch mits. Its to hard to get a 8 month olds thumb into mittens. LOL~~ So I saved my sister that headache. I will be mailing this out tomorrow.

This is all Corridale roving that I dyed! I am very impressed with the crockpot dyed one which is thee purplr one with all different colors and it really turned out neat! When I first pulled it out and it wasn't dry I wasn't happy with it but, when it dryed and I could see how the different colors did actually take I was super pleased. Its also why there is more pics of it so you all can see also. I've had offers on this one from some that wanted to buy it but, I don't sell my rovings. Yet! LOL~~ So here is "Purple Magic"

This was my first time oven dyeing. Didn't turn out how I wanted. For some reason the green washed out fully:-( However when posting this onto one of my groups they said it looks like Superman! LOL~~ So here is "Superman"

I'm really enjoying dying my own roving and can't seem to spin fast enough! I am going to get the new Travel Wheel called "The Bee" and can't wait! I know she will help me spin this lovely roving very well.

Here is My Neice Samantha's hat with her mittens I made her. The yarn for the hat is Paton's twister in bongo blues and the mittens are out of 100% wool and handspun yarn. It is actually my husbands very 1st spun up yarn! So extra special:-)
I'm working on my nephew Jared's hat and mittens. Got sidetract with making a pair of baby booties for our hopefully soon to be created baby!

This is the flowers that bloomed and was a gift from my parents at Christmas time. They are very pretty and gave me 2 blooms.

This hat is for my neice Samantha. I am making her a pair of mittens to go with the hat. It turned out so very cute and I LOVE this yarn! So glad I have more in different colors:-)

Ok, I have drove myself NUTS looking at patterns for me to knit for our upcoming baby. So I decided to maybe make the furtility gods to grant our wish. This is the FIRST baby Item I have made even before it is created! LOL~~ I made this quick and just played with stitches. I did the knit and purl stitch. It turned out very cute I think and can be for either sex:-)

Ok here's the thing. When Nate and I lived in WI before we adopted a kitten on my 21st b-day. Nate drove me to Barron County humane society and who this kitten you may ask was?? It was SNEAKERS!!!! Most of you have met sneakers or at least knew about him. He was the most friendly cat around. Loved to give kisses and boy did he ever know how to live up to his name! He was very sneaky. I would be in the bathroom and he would sneak in before I could shut the door! I would say out and he would look at me and then walk out sulking. He slept with me down by my feet after getting some loving scratches and petting. He was awsome with kids! I could go on forever about him. He really knew when I needed him as whenever I was in pain or sad he was right there for me. So he was very special.

Ok the place I adopted him is entered in this contest to win a huge makeover. They don't have a surgery area there and would love to have one along with other needed upgrades. So I heard this on the news Friday night and signed up right away! It is a awsome website. Soooo much to look at and do. Winter snow storm 12-20-08

Here is pictures from our storm yesterday. Now it was not done when I took these. We got about 6 to 7 inches in all. LOTS of SNOW!! It is supposed to snow again this week. Sun is out today but, the windchill is wicked so I'm inside knitting and fire going!

Here is Star and Speckles playing in the snow. These were right before they went inside. I got them hyper so I could get them playing! LOL~~ Otherwise Speckles wanted to go inside right away.

Dyeing roving!!!

First is this beautiful roving I got from my secret santa on a group from ravelry. Thanks Lindsey!!! Ok, I was taught how to crockpot dye from 2 friends on ravelry and so here is some of my experience this week! This is Targhee pin draft roving from Frene Creak Farms in WI which is AWSOME and my new one stop shop. LOL~~ Anyhow this one was unexpected but, turned out kinda mysterious. I did turkey red, shamrock, and sea Breeze. Now the green took over the pot and you can see a tinge of the red and of coarse can see the green but, not the blue:-( Nate still likes this one so it won't be overdyed.

Here is the same Targhee roving and is dyed turkey red and raspberry shorbert and I LOVE this one!!

My first crockpot experience and it was GREAT!! This roving is corridale and is from Frene Creak Farms also:-) Let see, it was dyed with turkey red, sea breeze, deep orchard, and teal. It turned out so good and I will be spinning it as soon as I can grab the Mach 1 spinning wheel from Hubby. LOL

ok my side of the family celebrated Christmas and Thanksgiving all on the same day! Why? Because my parents are leaving for warm weather and going to Az so they wouldn't be here for Christmas. So here is some pictures!

I made this for my sister, Rachel, and its Lion Brand Yarn's pattern called Bee-Bopper Purse. It was loom knitted with thick and quick also.

Speckles wanted on my lap really bad and well he jumped up and fell asleep on me. He gets frustrated with all the looming and him not getting the attention he normally gets. So he thought I would quit looming if he put his head through the loom part and hat in process and he fell asleep! LOL~~ I didn't stop just turned the loom slow and he still slept but, got frustrated once I was taking pics from the flash but, he stayed there for a long time head in the loom sleeping. LMAO

Mach 1 Spinning Wheel

This is the compaired pics from Ashford's Spinning wheel's bobbin to the Mach 1 spinning wheel's bobbin. As you can see there is a LARGE difference. Ashfords is way smaller! Mach 1's bobbin can hold anywhere from 8 oz of fiber to so far others have found 10oz of fiber!! This wheel can spin lace weight to VERY chunky art yarn! Why you might ask? Because it has an open orifice!! So no hang ups here! I will edit and post more specific stuff soon. I have to finish how I want it to be written.

my FAVORITE picture of TORI that I have gotten so far. I'm calling it my perfect picture. I have one of Dream also. So far hubby is not sure what one of Abby he likes best so far of us having her. LOL~~ Tori has her wintefr and is very fuzzy. She loves mommy also and comes right to the fence when Im outside. AllI have to say is where are my babies and they come running. LOL~~Tori is showing her true self more and more.

Abby and Dream don't havethei winter coat of fur in so we bought blankets for them. Tori has one also but, won't have to blanket her until it gets down into the teens. However its to cold (30's and below) here and dream and Abby do need the blankets. Abby's is blue but, Dream's is realy Purple. Tori's is Red. This is a perfect shot of the together showing off the blankets!!

See they are coming! LOL~~ Tori beat them by a mile. LOL

First snow

Well here is the SNOW. It had flurried some for a couple of days but, nothing much to take pictures of. Well today it came down and is actually staying on the ground. We let the horses out and Dream and Abby have NEVER been in snow before so I decided to take pictures of this event. When it first started coming down they ran around like mad but, have calmed down now. I'm sure Tori told them all about it as she has lived in MN for her life before we got her.

first time dying!

Polypay yarn that I dyed up at my class yesterday. This was spun up by a friend as I wasn't sure if Nate would have time. All yarn here is dyed by me and is Polypay.
This was an experiment and only had 10 minutes left to dye. I mixed up the dye but, it should have had more. I may re-dye it when I buy dyes as I wanted it BOLD colors. It is still pretty tho. I is also not dry fully yet and is why its still on the clothesline. Yes its inside as WI is showing its true cold rainy colors.
TEAL, awww my favorite color along with turquoise. Still drying in 1 spot.
All dry and LOVE how the colors are super dark and then light. This was my FIRST one and LOVE it!!!

this is my second. I used the water of the blue one as it still had some dye left and mixed up another batch and added red and well this is what I got!! I LOVE this one also. The blue is a bit darker then what it is pictured but, still looks great.

This is my FIRST full bobbin and its brown sheep wool. Very nice to spin. I have very little over spin in this and proud of it. THEN I got a wild hair and decided to try spinning Merino, a fiber my hubby has trouble spinning on the wheel we have right now and cusses it out. Well, needless to say I CAN spin it!! LMAO~~ He has been harrased about this already and I think its funny. Now when we get our new wheel which, I will post about it once it arrives and more exciting new on it. I'm sure he will be able to spin Merino once he gets that wheel, if not then I guess I get to spin it all:-) Anyhow this is merino and its color is called beach glass. Its from one of my favorite Etsy shops Copperpot. LOVE their stuff and have 2 more merino's to spin up and 1 other kind of fiber of theirs to spin.

I have been so busy knitting for Christmas gifts that I haven't had time to spin more but, do plan to very soon!!!

I went to Shady Ridge Farms in New Richmond,WI and got some of their Lovely Llama fiber!! It was a rainy day but, I still braved it with my friend Jen and her friend April. It was a lot of fun. We met up with Lori there also and saw another guild member. So anyhow I got 3 bags of llama and I'm in love with this!! I plan to mix some of it with another fiber. Now to plan out what I'm going to knit with it once I spin it up! Yep I'm spinning now also. Look for more exciting news about a spinning wheel soon!!! Oh and on Sat. I'm taking a dying class so I'm very excited about this and will be buying dyes from a WI local farmer and friend. Will post her info as soon as I figure out how to add links!!

Nate's father, Darrell just found out he has an agressive form of prostate cancer and goes in wed. to see if it has spread. Please send us prayers or good thought that this cancer has not spread and there will be no complications when he has surgery. So far surgery is scheduled but, if it has spread then he will have to do chemo and won't be able to do surgery. This hasn't fully hit us all yet I don't think. I'm very sad as Darrell is a wonderful Father In Law and has always been there for us along with Milda. So extra prayers and thoughts would be wonderful!!

We finally got the second and largest pasture done! Its so funny as you will see that the tall grass is almost taller then all 3 of the girls!!! I will hopefully get some more great shots of the girls with the tall grass. They are very happy and running all over plus eatting of coarse.

horse stalls done!

Ok, Some know we had planned to get stalls done before Tori got here but, with work needing done on pasture and then expanding that one to be larger as Dream and Abby ate it all before Tori could even get here! LOL~~
So needless to say it didn't get done. So hubby and father in law has been working on it. First was Abby's as the other 2 were eatting all her food and we were having to stand down there until she was done which was an hour at times as she is soooo slow at eatting. Well she dropped more weight then we wanted so hubby put off things and got hers done. Thankfully she is now starting to gain weight!!! YIPEEEEE~~ She is on a half and half deal to boost weight gain. She is doing well and actually seems to like being alone. They all can see eachother and talk so alls well in the world.
Today hubby got Tori and Dream's stalls done which was easy as they just split the large stall in half!! As Dream is head hontcho and started being mean to Tori and eat all her food which means she dropped maybe 5 pounds. However with all this bullying Dream has GAINED weight to the point where she HAS to be seperated and we now have to work on her dropping the pounds!! Anyhow here's some pictures. Dream looking at me wondering why I'm paying attention to Tori and Not her. LOL~~ She did get her hugs also. She's also a bit miffed that she can't get Tori's food!
So how long is the hay going to last? maybe an hour. MAYBE ~~ Like I said she's overweight and doesn't get as much as the others but, don't want to make her feel left out!
Tori very happy at being able to eat some pellets and then some hay and back and forth as she chooses. She eats slower then Dream but, not as slow as Abby. I'm having a lot of fun with her. We have made great stride even with me going to Mayo Clinic. She is as sweet as Dream is and Abby is. PERFECT match for us all.

I'm short but, still got the pictures! Had to stand on some wood to get a better shot of Abby and her stall.
This is how we split the stall and they still get to talk and see eachother. They are very close and I really do wonder if they know they are sisters.

They all need a bath and Tori has a large not in her mane due to me having to go to Mayo Clinic all the time and Nate unable to catch her. LOL~~ So we will have to trim it out and her mane will be shorter but, really it will grow back fast. She was so jumpy for a month and wouldn't let me hug her or hardly touch her. She would dance around. Well Nate left for a week and I worked with her and well, I can hug her all I want now and even catch her with no trouble in the stalls and sometimes outside. LOL~~ She has come a long way and it makes me very happy and proud. These are my first horses ever owning so its a learning lesson for us all.

Sorry I will try to take more its been busy here and we have 2 more pastures to fence off as you can see they ate the one they are in and is why they are getting hay right now. That should be done soon on at least 1 area which is grown up really nice and then we will plant the already fenced area with horse pasture grass. Ahhhh the joy of having horses:-)

This is of coarse not ALL of my yarn. I have a dresser full of it also but, HATE going up stairs as it is difficult for me but, we are limited on storage due to living with my in-laws. They are in their travel trailer but, still have most of their belongings in the farm house. I'm hoping to create something better for storage. I have my red heart worsted in the large vaccume things as I don't use that much and just filled 5 bins with other yarns in catagories of wool, acrylic, novilty, and Cotton. I also have a bin for roving. SOOO as you can see I'm full. Hubby brought my stash from Az to WI and they just got back on Friday so we had to buy bins and stuff like that.

This is doubled as there are bins behind those. Also my looms are UNDER the alpaca. The bin behind the blaket of alpaca is cotton.
Acrylic with novelty as this I did BEFORE we bought more bins and is what I got from Smily's yarns. Some was from what I had before plus shopping at Hobby Lobby!!

I'll use this with another yarn for a purse! Its a #1 weight. Christmas present yarn. Got it on sale of $2 each skein online. Its all thick and quick.

Most is from smilies yarns. Thick and Quick is not however. Can't show most things due to it being all for christmas!! I have A LOT of looming to do. Have 3 projects going right now but, having trouble and need some help. Will post to yahoo groups for help.

Alpaca blankets and more fiber

This is alpaca blankets from a lady on ravelry that was needing to clear out a huge storage shed. She was even going to BURN it all but, lucky she posted first in a group and had a flood of people wanting them. We got 3. I still have to take a picture of the brown but, I started washing it and its still in the van as I did some at a friends house. Its close to the brown part in this rose grey blanket. I will post it tho sometime.

This is sheep, can't remember what kind but, We got them both for $20 and its 9 oz. each so Hubby liked the peach one and I liked the dark brown one. Its nice and soft also. I know its not merino.
A friend gave hubby this fiber and he spun it up. I think its falklin but, not sure. She dyed it and its SOOOOOOOOO pretty. He spun it up really fast and it looks wonderful!

Introducing my NEW baby girl Trillogy's Magic Smoke Aka Tori!!!
She is Trillogy's Dream Finder's aka Dream full sister just a year younger. We picked her up last night. I tried to keep them in order but, it isn't fully. This pic was taken this morning.

We are at Lazy H Ranch picking up Tori but, I HAD to see the new babies there and of coarse their moms. There is 6 baby shetlands there this year.

Tori in the trailer. I took this once we stopped to get gas. I had to go into the trailer to help settle her down. She hasn't been in trailers much so she was scared. We had quite the adventure with her!! LOL~~ She is starting to get to know me tho which is great.

Tori this morning when we opened the top part of the door. I took some pics. Not sure how last night went but, no blood!! Abby Rose was the one that was kicking last night!

Nate grabbed the camera as I couldn't get a full pic and ended up getting me in the picture also. Oh well she is my baby girl!

Here they all are running together. I had DH make them run so I could see her in action. Abby Rose is being a hog. Tori wants soooo baddly to be right with them but, Abby is sticking like glue to Dream and those two walk super close together. So they are not all friends YET. It will take a couple days and that. I know they will all get along well.

I did get the two sisters together running tho and thought this was a cute picture!

Horse Update!

Close up of Abby Rose grabbing the grass! They just got let out into their larger area today and boy do they LOVE it as we let the grass grow longer!! Abby is not as piggish as my Dream girl is. LOL~~ Her mouth fulls are never as large. She's danty.
Here is a close up of Dream being a pig thinking the grass is going to go away so she has to take as much as possible into her mouth! LOL
See the fence with the flags? That is their border as its electric fence. They don't even know how big of an area they have yet as they are to busy eatting. We had to chace them to make them run more to see how much they do have!

The lighter area is SAND as they ate all the grass in their old area. They were not sure of the new area at first as the posts are still there so they thought the wire was also. We had to lead them into it! LOL~~ We will pull the posts soon.

I tried to get it in order but, not to sure now! LOL~~ Their enclosure is now about an acre or more! I will try to get a BIG picture of it sometime. You can kinda get a hint of it once I load the pics with the girls in it!

this wild berries roving we bought at a LYS in Roberts, WI. Its lovely and Nate has actually started another bobin of it and it making that one even thinner to my request!

Both bobins are full on the first rovings he did on his new wheel which is an ashford.

Here is the second day or so of spinning. After much cussing and calling some friends for HELP he got the hang of it!! Thankfully we have met some great new friends here in WI. He is now really good at it and fast. He troubleshoots better also. I'm very proud and can't wait to knit with this new yarn! I have made requests of how I'd like it spun as to thick or thin or a little of both. I will keep up on the updates hopefully better. I'm really behind and is why there are so many posts today! LOL

We bought a Drop Spindal at the Harvest Festival and Nate did do well at it but, he really wanted a wheel. It did help him learn how to draft the roving tho. Harvest Moon Sheep and Wool Festival Lake Elmo, MN

I got to Meet Karen and we got to shop together at the festival also!! My husband came with and so did her's so it was a great meet up! We shoped while it rained outside which wasn't great but, was a nive fiber day anyhow. LOL~~ We plan to meet up more while I'm in the area. Roving I got. My husband is going to learn how to spin!!! He is signed up for classes already and will be talking to other spinners and joining in some groups. He may even join Ravelry!! What a great hubby I have, Hey! Oh also he plans to get some alpacas, Llamas, sheep and so forth as time goes and then we can have our own fiber!! We are unsure of what we will start out with first but, will update as it happens. If it would have been nicer day Karen brought some of her Alpaca Fleece but, I didn't see it due to pooring rain. So next time we may go to their house and see the Alpaca's and the fleece then!!
I bought some felting needles! Plan to try these out soon.
600 Yards of Alpaca!!! I got another one like this but, can't find the picture. Got a different colorway tho. This is black and tan and the other is brown and white. BEAUTIFUL!! and soooo SOFT.
Roving. For some reason the picture I took is blurry and they are this way in all so for some reason it doesn't like the camera. It is soft and beautiful tho!!
This is Needle Felted animals. NON are done by me. They were shown at the show by Martin's Magical Menagerie. I do plan to learn how to do this tho as it is soooo neat!! They are very light also! Some of them were fairly large also! Like 7" or more!!

I took pictures of some roving at one of the venders for reference. This way I can go on their website and BUY once hubby is better at spinning. He wanted only some to start with.

Traveling to WI (texas & NM stops)

This is on our way back to WI. I forgot to take pictures at all our stops but, took the ones that were the nicest. LOL~~ We stopped in Deming, NM the first night but, it was not anything special. The horses did get their own space every night. Most places the dogs got to run around free with no leash but, not all. The cats had it the hardest but, made it with not much trouble. They were even fairly quiet! However My cat Spirit did get sick but, it might be allergies. We may take him to the vet tomorrow but, he is kinda snaping out of it. Nate is Running the girls in the round pen before we have to get back on the road. This place in Amarillo, TX was super nice and we spoiled ouselves with a bunkhouse room and it was nicer and cheaper then other rooms we have been in through the years. Some we paid over $150 for and this one for $75 was better then them! LOL~~ The girls were very happy to have a 60 foot round pen to themselves. Our dogs and cats got to run their entire barn as we were the only ones staying that night! They loved it to say the least and the owners were very nice.
This was in NM. We stayed near the 60. Can't think of the town's name. Its a little past Socorro. Nice RV park. We stayed in our truck on the bed in back. It was a bit crowded but, we made it through. At least this place had showers and a bathroom we could use!! The other one didn't which sucked for me. Had to go potty outside or in the horse trailer. I know TMI. The horses had fun in their stalls every night!

Back to Texas place. LOL~~ Thought it was nice to get pictures of them running in the round pen. I know they liked it. Its fun to train this way. They don't even know its happening. LOL

Our friends baby was born early but, healthy. Lucky for me I started things early! The blanket was a pattern from the Loom Crafts book where you can get at Walmart and so forth. It was pretty easy to do but, looks nice. I used Angel Hair Stripes from Sensations at Jo Anns. And the sensations Beautiful or something like that from Jo Anns also for the head of the bear and the trim. This is VERY soft.

Booties are done with Bethany's bootie pattern which is WONDERFUL. I did the no scratch mits from I believe Bev's site. Also did a quick normal hat. E-wrap for the brim and flat knit stitch for the rest and on the blue KK loom. I made the pom pom with knit wits loom help! LOL~~

Here is the beginning of a bag that we are doing on Ravelry LAL and its one of Isela's patterns. It has been one that I've wanted to do and bought during her sale before she chose it for a class. I chose a bulky yarn but, it didn't have the yardage needed so I had to buy 8 skeins just to make sure I had enough. The yarn is a nice wool but, learned not to pull hard as it WILL break! LOL~~ Yep pulled hard and it broke. Lucky it was long enough so I tied it and kept going. LOL~~ Will post before I felt it and after its felted which may be when we get to WI. Good excuse to bring more yarn with hey! LOL

Well I'm proud to say these are done with NO goof ups!!! I wasn't sure if I should use the yarn I did as I wanted it for the gift set but, figured I would just do it anyhow as I'm running out of time! I did have to frog a little on the first one but, the second went smooth! Thanks for everyone for helping me and Bethany for such a wonderful pattern! This set is for our friends baby boy that is do May 15th. I have several other items that I'm making for them also. The blanket only needs mattress stitch and that will be done. So this week and weekend I should be posting more. I will be doing these booties again for my sisters baby who is due June 16th. Anyhow here they are! I'm very proud of them.

This is a test knit for Karen. She posted the pattern a couple months ago but, wanted an actual cloth to put on her website so I was lucky enough to be asked! I didn't get it done as fast as normal due to packing for our 6 month trip to WI and also making things for our friends baby boy who is due May 15th! Want to give them their gifts before we leave! I did luckly get it done and think it turned out very well. It is a cute pattern. I LOVE test knitting for the talented designers we have and feel proud that they choose me:-)

So come on everyone and start knitting this pattern for a baby blanket, dishcloth, washcloth, pillow, ect... it is so cute it can be anything! I might do the image on a baby bib and think it would look really cute:-)

This is Trooper who is a wonderful donkey. He is also the father to Abby's baby she is carrying!! This baby will be the last of Troopers line as Susan his owner fixed him on Saturday. Sad but, a happy result. He has another baby coming in a month or so from another mare. This is the Mother to be Abby Rose. THis baby will be her first! It will be a mini mule.
So how did we find out? My hubby and I have noticed she was putting on weight. So when talking to Susan, a friend and who we adopted our girls from 2 yrs. ago just announced 2 of her girls were pregnant but, due in a month or two! Anyhow she called one of her friends and pet communicater Bonnie and she read what Susan's girls were having and if they were pregnant. SO I told hubby and he said lets do it. So with a phone call I spoke with Bonnie (very nice lady) and she talked to Abby after I gave her Abby's coloration and age. The result was: Abby says she IS PREGNANT and that it is a GIRL!! sHE JUST STARTED TO DO READINGS ON COLOR OF BABY AND SHE SAID ITS GOING TO BE GRAY!! This is wonderful!! We are all excited. During the communication my Dream girl was there and I was petting her and then Abby came up to me with this odd look on her face and ears back a bit like she was listening to something and it was really neat to see. So Our oldest baby girl is going to have a baby this fall! I will keep everyone updated during this exciting time. It will be our first foal for me and its very exciting. I know some are not sure about all this but, many people we know have done this and the results are correct. Susan has used her a lot with different mares and things and they have been right on! So I'm not a disbeliever at all. She is wonderful and I can't wait to use her again for more readings other then Pregnancy testing!!

I had another injection today. Only 2 more to go this month:-(....
However hubby was nice enough to take me to several places. One was to hunt down my favorite Knitting meeting called Simply Knitting which is a UK magazine and hard to find at times. I love one of the designers in there and HAVE to have this magazine and will subscibe this fall to it. Anyhow first we went to Borders where I found the magazine. Then we went to Big Lots and here is the following that I got there. There was other fun fur but, it was colors I already had plenty of so why buy more! LOL~~ I LOVE paton's yarns and found some I didn't have the colorways of......

This WILL be my bag that is Isela's pattern and its one of her classes. I finally found the bulky wool yarn and it was on sale 2 for $6. Only problem was there was less yards so I had to buy more then pattern said and decided to do 8 just to make sure! LOL
$2 a skein on the extra large skeins so I picked up some.

So that was my day and now I'm home in pain from walking to much but, guess that is life. I will be on the heatpad all night and popping pills. Unfortunatly this is my life and has been for awhile. Darn spine! Injections are not fun but, we are hoping it will get me to be pain free for awhile soon. We still have a long road ahead and its been 2.5 yrs already!

Here is the picture that my husband took of Stephanie and Me. We had a lot of fun and plans for next year that includes lots of YARN stores! LOL~~ It was a wonderful fun filled day and she took my husband joking additude really well and tossed it right back at him! She is a wonderful lady and a great friend. Well I got to meet up with Stephanie!! We went yarn shopping of coarse and hit 2 out of 3 LYS. It was a lot of fun! We also hit Jo Anns which I only bought purse handles and Dollar Tree where we hit the jackpot! And then Tuesday Morning which was not very good this time. We didn't buy anything from there. I will post picks of Stephanie and I together once hubby sends the picks off his phone. We both forgot our good camera's. LOL~~ It was a very fun day. I got to meet her wonderful family and we went to eat lunch first. Her family went hiking while we shopped. They tried to get my hubby to go with but, he wasn't up to hiking! LOL~~ He hasn't done that since he was 19! So he drove us around to all the shops and sat in the husband chair. LOL

I bought this at The Fiber Shop LYS in Prescot for the purse I'm making of Isela's. Not sure however that I got enough. Grrr, still might have to add more or find something in bulky yarn! I can't seem to find bulky wool in LYS's lately! This will be a bag just maybe not the one I planned.
I got this at LYS called A Good Yarn. I LOVE the colors. Only bought 1 but, thought I could make a small purse or something with it. There is a good amount of yards on it. Corn Fiber Yarn!! I saw this in Kingman and passed it up well I didn't pass it up this time. Thought of a baby bib but, not sure yet. I LOVE the feel of this! Got it at A Good Yarn.

As you can see our girls are having fun eating one of their favorite treats WATERMELLON!!! They LOVE it and have lots of fun trying to get more then the other one. Dream is usually the boss but, they both do get their fair share.

I thought this to was funny and cute to not get a picture of. LOL~~ It looks like Abby has Lipstick On! LOL~~ Lovely pinkish red lips hey! She proudly shows her love of watermellon.

Dream making sure there is nothing left! They do NOT waste. She doesn't show the pink lips very well but, trust me she has them! Also wish I would have gotten the camera out while she was eating the red part and the liquid dripping out of her mouth. She is so funny when she eats watermellon. It was a nice 70 degree weather day!

We are in need of 1 or if possible 2 10 inch horse saddles with all the straps. We have a large mini horse and a Shetland Pony and are traveling to WI for 6 months where I'm really positive they will have lots of kids wanting to ride them. I was going to see if we could borrow 1 or 2 from a friend but, then thought it might be best to see if we can get a good deal on one or two. HAS to be in good shape! Safty is a major thing with us as we will have young children on these saddles! 2 dishcloths done!

I was lucky enough to be able to test knit these two wonderful dishcloths designed by the wonderful and amazing Stephanie McElheran. Her website is http://loomydishcloths.wordpress.com/
She will let everyone know when they are available. This first cloth is called Arabian Nights. It is wonderful and I'm a huge fan of horses so doing this cloth was great for me. I will be making LOTS more. I fell in love with the colors of this yarn and thought it would be great for this. The camera did ok at capturing the image but, it really does show up a lot better in person. Maybe a solid color would have been better for pictures. I know everyone will want this pattern!

Here is another great design. It is a Daschund Dishcloth! I have a mini doxie so this was a lot of fun to do. I know of several people that have doxie's that will be getting a dishcloth of this pattern for Christmas!

This cloth was sent to me when we did a cloth exchange. I was parnered up with Sharon Riskus. I was very happy with this swap and the beautiful cloth I recieved. I would do this again but, not for awhile as we will be leaving for WI in a little over a month and I have a lot of other projects to get done! My First Shawl is DONE!!!! This took about 3 weeks to do and the pattern is out of the Knifty Knitter loom book for long looms. Its an easy pattern but, does take some time to do. I also have this as a surprise for my mom who is visiting so I had to quick hide it when they pulled into the driveway every day or so! LOL~~ So it took a bit more time bacause of this but, she will get it before they leave which I was really starting to wonder if I would get it done in time. I finished it late last night. 12:30am. I was very happy to get it off the loom and have the feeling of acomplishment. It is in rib stitch and done on the blue long loom. The yarn used is homespun yarn. The colors in person are beautiful.

Here are the patches for a quilt someone made and it was in a bag of yarn I got from Freecycle. I do not use this type of thing so would love to give them a new home and to someone that would put these to good use. There are 25 squares! More then I thought but, I did count them. Please let me know if you would like them!

Here is the doll in a basket that I finally finished. VERY late but, at least it is done! It will go to my 3 yr. old niece. This is far from perfect but, guess thats how it goes. The doll stretched way to much when stuffing. She will still like it tho.
Here is her Kitty! It is done in Red Heart Symphony yarn and I LOVE this yarn! It is soooo soft and nice to work with. I know she will love this. SHe loves animals and espeshially cats. I plan to make lots more stuffed animals for her. I think it turned out cute. Sorry I can't think of who the designer is. It is not my design!! It also didn't say on the pattern I had so whoever E this pattern. I also have a dog and I think bear pattern done by this same person that I do plan to make sometime.

Mesa Arizona Parade

WoW What a day! There was a lot of firsts for our 2 girls but, they did great and we were proud parents! LOL~~ Here are some pictures we took of the parade. Some of the people and floats had to go right by us before we got to start walking. We figure we walked at least 2 miles which was great for dropping the extra unwanted weight but, I do feel it now that I'm resting. Hate having health issues but, as you can tell it didn't stop me from doing it!

Here is Painted Promice's new bundle of joy. She is already sold but, has to wait for a while to go to her new home. She is only 4 weeks old here! She walked the parade and was carried at times! LOL~~ She is resting now. This is Clamentine.

These two guys were very funny and we HAD to get a picture or two of them. Talk about a RV park of a lot of fun loving people!!

They started the parade off in style. All our armed men and woman. Plus had vets of all wars. It was extreemly nice to see.

Large Clidesdale! Beautiful horse and Dream and Abby LOVED seeing other horses and being with other horses. They all did great.
Here is my baby girl! She puts up with a lot for me! Its her first parade same with Abby. She has NEVER had decorations on her except for the cowboy hat and santa hat. However the things on her legs we had to take off her. Sensory overload! She was fine with them standing still but, freeked out when we started to walk. She was not having anything to do with it. So we took them off and then she was fine. We will introduce things like that slowely. She did still have the necklesses on and ended up wearing a fancy scarf also. You can see that in other pictures. She also had 3 red ribbons in her tail. She did really good!

Abby all dressed up. She let Nate (hubby) do this to her and she kept it all on with no problem! Guess it helps to be 9 yrs. old. Dream is only 4 yrs. old. Doesn't Abby look cute??!!

Family and fun pictures of our week

Thought it might be nice to share some pictures of my family and what has been going on around here besides the flu! LOL~~ This is my niece Samantha. She is 3 yrs. old but, is very advanced. She acts and talks like a 5 yr. old. One smart cookie here and can be lippy also. She has one heck of an attitude at times and says the funniest and cutest stuff. She's very happy and is a lover of animals and the outdoors. My sister and her husband do lots outdoors with them both having backgrounds in forestry. She loves to camp and fish but, also likes to play dress up and girl things like that. She's very fun to knit for!!

Here is Dream. She is my Baby girl. She's a almost 4 yr. old registered Shetland Pony. She is a HUGE part of my life and keeps me going and is one that has kept me out of depression and helped me in more ways then I ever dreamed of. She is the light of my life. When she runs it reminds me of an arabian horse. She's very fast, graceful, and beautiful. Usually she has her tail up in the air more but, couldn't get the picture right when I was snapping away. She has come a very long way with me. She has a past of abuse and trust issues. She bonded to me faster then I ever thought and she and I are a tight couple. I love her very much.
Abby Girl is a Miniature Horse and is my Husbands baby. She is 9 yrs. old or so and has a history of abuse and neglect also. She is a good girl tho and Dream and her are great together.
Dream had just ran up to the fence and had to put the brakes on! LOL~~ You can kinda see the dust rolling. They love to look out at others walking in their yards.
And they are OFF!! LOL~~ So much fun watching them run together.

Here is a set of 3 pictures. My old camera would have NEVER done this good. I've tried to get series shots before. You can also see that she is DARK BROWN but, in the wrong light she looks black. She needs to be brushed again as they are shedding their fuzzys. It would show up a lot better then! Anyhow here is my baby girl getting ready to roll! She has found a great spot and I got her just in time when she's on her way down.

Around the Bend
Here is family pictures. My mom's siblings came out to Arizona all at once and it was a lot of fun even tho they brought the sickness! So it is 5 sets of siblings and my mom and dad plus 1 cousin!! Most of them this is the first time in Arizona! Some haven't even flown before like my cousin Robin!! It was sad to see them leave but, we will see them all but, 1 aunt and uncle when we go this spring to WI. Uncle Lewie and Aunt Bev winter in Az and live in Oregon so won't see them in WI. I'm in the second picture right by my mom on the right. Hubby was the only one that could take pictures and he did great! He had 8 camera's in his hands taking pictures in that shot! To bad he didn't get to be in it but, it was a once in a lifetime shot that had to be taken.

Here are our girls in our new trailer for the first time! It went well and they did relax fairly well also. They kept turning their head to make sure nate and I were still their. My baby girl was a bit scared at first but, a butt scratch and some hay and she is all good! LOL~~ She got out of the trailer like a charm also! All those lessons on backing up helped. They have never been in a straight load before. Abby had a bit more trouble getting out but, she did pretty good.

Dream noticed I was outside again and looked at me. She will come to me from anywhere once she sees me or her name is called by me.

This is Tequila. She is my mom and Dad's Yellow lab. We watched her for a couple days while my parents were visiting an uncle in CA. She's a good girl.

Then there is my 2 dogs Star is an Aussie and Speckles who is a mini DOxie. Here they all got bones as a treat and are all spoiled!

Here is some Cotton/wool blend yarn I got from A LYS in Prescott today. There is 3 there but, since it is Sat. we made it to 1. It was nice but, a little small. They didn't do much with looming either of coarse and didn't even seem interested in it. It was fine but, looking forward to going to a LYS that enjoys looming like I do! I also found this book as I really want to make more bags and purses!

I bought several patterns last night online. I think I did 4 or 5 dishcloth patterns from Stephanie who does awsome patterns. I'm also glad to be able to test knit 2 soon to be 3 patterns for her so you all can look at her site soon for them!

I also bought from Deneise who had her patterns on sale last night for $1 each! I bought each of them and of coarse already have her wonderful book!! Can't wait to knit them up!

Hubby found a Tuesday Morning in Prescott also and I walked out with lots there and added it to my collection.

This purpleish yarn I bought from the LYS. I am not sure what it will be but, its very soft and is great! Picked up another color also.

Here is tweed from Debbie Bliss's yarn line and I saw several patterns done with tweed so not to choose! LOL

Here is more from Tuesday Morning! They had the pink purple and black stuff on sale for $1.99 each! Thought it would make great scarfs for my niece. This Boa is in a package of 10 and was discounted from $33.00 to $7.99!!! I couldn't beat it and got both the packages they had there!

More yarn from Tuesday Morning and my mom thought the pattern of a scarf from ribbon yarn would look neat so this will probably be for her for Christmas. The thick black yarn is going to be my typing gloves!! Thought it would be perfect for the blue loom! Just hope I got enough but, I do have small hands!

Hope you enjoyed looking at all this! I have had the flu for a couple days so haven't had time to finish the projects that I wanted to but, do plan to have them on here soon! I'm finally not running to the rest room every 5 minutes! Not fun at all. Several family members (4 sets of aunts and uncles and 1 cousin) are here from WI and MN for a few days. They actually leave tomorrow and have been here almost a week. It has been nice but, some of them had gotten sick a couple days before coming and so they probably got me sick! Lucky I only missed a bit of time with them. We will see them again in May so it is ok. Our trip back to WI is exciting and we have a lot planned. It will be an interesting trip to say the least because all pets will be coming with us! So that is 2 cats, 2 dogs, and 2 horses. We will be buying a new truck and horse trailer with living quarters before we head back to AZ and it will be great and more room as we are going there in a surburban and horse trailer just room for our 2 girls in the trailer. We also plan to stop in NM and possibly buy land!!! Hoping for 20 to 40 acres with a house on it already but, if its just the land we will just move a house onto it. Anyhow looking forward to it. I will load more pics as I get them taken.

This way I can answer you fully! I'm not computer savvy at times. I will be posting finished projects hopefully this week. Should be 3 things. I'm very excited about all the yarn I have and feel completely blessed. My husband is wonderful. I feel guilty at times that he lets me spend so much money on my crafting but, he reminds me often on how many years we had to penny pinch and use my birthday money on bills just to make it. So he says it is time for me to get the things I want and love. He knows I will use every bit of it and is excited when I show him the finished projects. I have a wonderful husband to say the least. We are blessed to be our own bosses and still be able to help others! I've run support groups for people with Chrinic Illnesses online and local as I have several medical challenges. So helping others is very important to us as I've felt how it is to feel alone and struggle with feeling like crap and nobody understanding. I don't want anyone to feel that way. So we are truely blessed as I myself have been on many herbal products that didn't work and flushed money down the drain basically when we really didn't have it. Now that is different because the herbs I'm on is helping me!! When I started to notice differences I started to cry. It was like finally something actually will help me! I HATE prescription drugs because of the side effects and how they make me feel. That is me. I do take some because of 80% of my spine is messed up and large amounts of pain. I don't like it but, I know someday I will be able to get off of them. THinking possitive for me is HUGE. It makes me feel better and I fully believe that negitive thoughts will just bring you down. I do think bad thoughts at times but, come to my sences and turn it into a positive thing. It is hard at first to make yourself do this but, it does help. If you haven't watched the movies THE SECRET and the 2nd part to it PASS IT ON then your totally missing out! I do have copies of PASS IT ON for sale if your interested. I hope by me posting my treasures is not making someone feel bad. I fully am not meaning to do this! I just get so excited and to share it with other yarn lovers is fun for me.

I plan to make some charity items for Phoenix Childrens Hospital. I think hats would be great but, want to do some animals and stuff that is fun and they can cuddle up with. We are going to bring our 2 horses for pony rides as soon as possible. Have to talk to someone at the hospital. We just bought a horse trailer last night and so we are almost set for traveling to WI in May!! It will be crowded on the way there as we are brining our 2 dogs and 2 cats along with the horses. We will be camping out at horse friendly places and sleep in the suburban with a bed in back. Then in Sept. when we get ready to come back we are buying a new truck that will be deseil and probably a Dodge 3500. Plus a Living Quarters horse trailer!! So we will be more confy then. We will trade our now suburban in. Might also do the trailer but, not sure as we may have someone bring it back for us. We know people that are truckers and so called hot shots which are people that drive 1 ton trucks or big trucks with car hauling trailers and that. So we might call on them.

Also on our way back we will spend quite a bit of time in New Mexico around the south western part (no SNOW) as we are looking at moving there and planning on buying 20 to 40 acres of land with hopefully a house already on it. We are excited as we have many plans with owning property like that. 1. is have more horses and a hobby farm so we can grow our own food and have our own meat. 2. run a theripy day camp with our horses for children and adults. 3. do a foster home. 4. there is so much to list! LOL

this yarn is for our friends baby boy afghan/blanket. He is due May 15th!! Its a total surprise. I'm making a lot more then the blanket for them. If this yarn does well I will pick out more for my sisters baby unknown sex in June 23rd.

It will be a grocery bag as Az is trying to be baggless! I LOVE These Large 850 yard skiens at Jo Ann's and HAD to pick up some more. I have a lot of this in different colors but, have plans in my mind for them:-)

Here we go on Smiley's Yarn! Got my shippment that hubby was oh so kind to toss his card at me. The Wool was on sale for .99 a skien! Only for limited time. Missed out on some colors but, still happy. I got 6 of each color:-) Plan to make purses out of it or a afghan.

Bonnie's Yarn again! LOL~~ On sale 40% off and got it because I loved the colors. Scarf maybe? Or... who knows. Sox yarn is DH buy as he says he gets to pick out something from the LYS he takes me to to have me make him. LOL~~ I agreed because he's being soooooo wonderful in spoiling me rotton. We have never been able to spend money like this until we joined a health and wellness business and now the sky is the limit! We are very very greatful and are planning to look at land in NM in Sept on our way back from WI and may buy! We want 20+ acres! So we may be moving!!! We are very excited about our future now and want to help others like our mentor has helped us. I have lots of different things to choose from for this yarn and VERY excited. This yarn is soooo soft and I just LOVE it!!

Sock yarn from Smilies. The more tealish one is for me and the other 2 are for hubby as he has size 14 feet and mine are 7 1/2. I'm making my 3 yr. old niece a purse with the Moda-Dea Dream purple yarn. I have 2 skeins already bought from before. I guess this is it! Except I know I'm missing 2 other skiens from Jo Ann's of the 850 yard skiens. Guess I'll post them once a project is done with them! LOL Hope you enjoy and I will be having LOTS of FUN!!!! The room is still a mess as hubby has yet to revamp parts of my room but, I took a couple quick pictures of my stash as the other ones are outdated! LOL~~ On the shelfs it is layerd 2 so yarn is behind the front skiens! I have more coming also from Smilies! Hubby let me order for a couple afghans I have planned and several other things. I also forgot to take pics of some skiens I bought at Jo Anns but, they are on my shelves. They already have projects dedicated to them. 1 baby blanket and teddy bears. Also hoping to make an afghan out of some for myself!
